Curtain Call

Today is a sad day in the history of Throw-In.
In recent times, we've been feeling under ever more pressure to live up to the heavy expectations on our shoulders and are no longer getting any sort of pleasure from the site. We've also watched forum visitors and post numbers dwindle to almost non-existant levels.
It was becoming a truly mammoth task to motivate our staff and as such, we have come to the conclusion that it would be best for all parties if we were to shut our doors. The staff are no longer able to find the time or motivation to help us succeed and we wish them all the best in their future ventures.
However, you can still have a say in the future of Throw-In….
The site will be listed as a business for sale on eBay where we will be selling the mainsite with design and content, the fully licensed forums and the remaining 8 months of web hosting as well as the domain name. We hope you can give generously for this great historic scene site.
The site will remain open for the rest of the day as a grace period to allow all visitors the chance to read these words before the site is removed.
Regretfully Yours,
The Throw-In Team.
